For the fourth year in a row, Horizontal Integration is thrilled to announce that they have been recognized as a Top Workplace by the Star Tribune. The award is unique in that it’s based on employee feedback—if a workplace isn’t good to its people, they won’t make it onto this list.
The Star Tribune says, “Top Workplaces are not only better places to work but are more likely to be successful than peer organizations.” Treating coworkers well isn’t just good for PR; it’s good for business too. One HI employee boils it down to: “I get to work with people who make me want to be better at what I do.”
A big part of having employees that want to be better at what they do is that old chestnut, “Work hard, play hard.” HI works with Fortune 500 companies, amazing nonprofits, and brands recognized the world over. Projects of that scale invite teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and innovation in Sitecore and beyond. But the rewards are worth it: summer barbecues, outings both charitable and fun, and extensive benefits. Reed Varner, Managing Director, says, “My goal is to make sure everyone here is taken care of to the extent that they become more than employees—they become fans, both of the business and the people they work with."
